White River Revival @ Greenwater
Saturday - July 10, 2010
Buck Creek Recreation Area - Greenwater, WA
Only 1 ½ hours from Seattle is some of the best mountain biking in our state located at the base of Crystal Mountain.
If you haven’t raced at Greenwater in the past, many claim that it’s the best mountain bike course out there, offering more of an old school style type of mountain bike racing. There is a variety of terrain including stream crossings, short rooty climbs, longer double track climbs, switchbacks, and super fun descents set in the idyllic shadows of Mt. Rainier at the base of Crystal Mountain.
The course is in the best condition ever this year!
This year we are using a variation of the courses we have used in the past with the start loop, lower loop and the upper loop. The long road climb taking you to the upper loop has been shortened, but don't worry, the fun downhills are just as good as ever.
POST RACE PARTY
Join us at the Snorting Elk at Crystal Mountain for the Summer Season Kick off Party and Rock & Roll BBQ. Live band, good food, and of course, there will be New Belgium on tap. 4:30pm until close
THIS EVENT IS A FUNDRAISER FOR A VERY IMPORTANT PERSON IN THE MOUNTAIN BIKE COMMUNITY
100% of the proceeds from this race will be going to help defray the medical costs of "Wick", long time mountain bike race promoter.
Wick has been an area race promoter for 20 years. He is the host of the famous "Wednesday Night World Championships" and has served as an integral part of our racing community. Currently our friend is in the ICU unit where he is battling a monumental infection that could keep him there for some time.
PLEASE HELP GIVE BACK TO SOMEONE WHO HAS SUPPLIED US WITH COUNTLESS MOUNTAIN BIKE RACES AND SERVED AS A DEDICATED MEMBER OF OUR COMMUNITY!

It's not a 'B' level sci-fi movie from the 50's. It is the best place in the universe (besides the team tent on race day) to go for up to date information on what the team has been up to and what is upcoming. Race reports, pictures, it's all here.
